We’re looking for a talented Audit Manager to join our Financial Assurance department.

What you’ll learn and do

As an Audit Manager, you will be the ambassador of the PwC brand and create an exceptional client experience by delivering quality and value in a passionate manner. You will have a key role on audit assignments in various industries, where you will utilise and further develop your knowledge and skills.

You will:

• have direct contact with the most interesting clients and build relationships of high value which are genuine and meaningful 

• work independently in close collaboration with experienced, motivated and high performing teams

• plan, execute & supervise a variety of audit engagements

• bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to the work you do, and share it for the benefit of others 

• seek technical development through continuous learning opportunities and coaching on the job supported by our experts. 

• continually look for opportunities to help clients solve their complex business problems in an ever-changing environment

• utilise the PwC audit methodology

• utilise the PwC world class audit digital technologies

• lead yourself and others to make a difference and create positive impact in a responsible, authentic, resilient, inclusive and passionate manner

• contribute to the development of your own audit team members seeking performance or development coaching

Who you are 

• In possession of Masters degree in (Applied) Economics or Commercial Sciences

• 6 to 10 years of experience in financial statements' audit

• Proven analytical skills and organisational abilities and a proactive approach to solving problems and delivering client solutions

• A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships

• Demonstrate a high degree of professional skepticism, independence and objectivity

• You understand the significance of quality standards and are committed to delivering services which consistently achieve the expectations of the clients, the market and its stakeholders.

• The ability to work autonomously and be an action-oriented self-starter

• Experience in supervising, developing and coaching junior staff

• The ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels

• Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP (although this is not strictly required, it would be an advantage)

• Born team player who likes to take initiative and sees challenges as opportunities

• Positive, open minded, objective and agile to adapt well to new situations

• Excellent language skills in English and Dutch, French is a plus
