People in this position shall establish, create, maintain and oversee well-designed approach to EHS management and governance. The position’s primary responsibilities will be -- 1. Set up and sustain a scientific and sound management on EHS at factory level. 2. Monitoring, interpret and assess existing or emerging EHS laws, regulations, regulatory policies and industry practices. Execute Corporate EHS strategies, policies, programs, procedures, standards and actions throughout the factory level organization to effectively manage applicable or relevant requirements. 3. Design, develop, author, and sustain the programs, procedure, processes and systems to compliance with EHS laws, regulations and standards. 4. Perform EHS compliance applicability reviews and EHS risk assessments and implement effective programs, procedures, processes and systems to ensure regulatory compliance and protect employees, communities and the environment. 5. Develop, align and implement long-term EHS strategies and annual or short term EHS action plans, projects or initiatives that effectively manage EHS compliance and risk mitigation objectives with business and operational needs, operating plans, capital planning, resource staffing and budgeting. 6. Developing, integrating and executing policies, programs, procedures, standards, training, processes and actions throughout the factory organization to drive EHS vision, mission, policy and strategies. 7. Provide regulatory proposal, permitting issues and negotiations as EHS leader. Provide EHS technical and science support, assessment and control of EHS issues arising from operational processes, supply-chain, equipment and materials. 8. Performance audits and reviews to identify systemic EHS management gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions to sustain compliance with EHS law and company EHS strategies, policies or standards. Leverage lessons learned and develop continuous improvement EHS programs. 9. Provide EHS service, solutions, programs, best practices and technical guidance to business management and support functions to effectively and efficiently manage compliance assurance and EHS risk mitigation. 10. Conduct EHS incident investigations to determine and implement root cause corrective actions. Leverage lessons learned and develop continuous improvement EHS programs. 11. Collect, measure and analyze site EHS metrics and KPI performances, to discover trends for continuous improvement or corrective measures. Perform management reviews and report on EHS performance and tactical and strategic improvement planning. 12. Partner and collaborate with support functions to influence and manage EHS resources. 13. Design, develop, implement, execute and sustain factory level employee safety and injury prevention programs. Design, develop, implement, execute and sustain factory level environmental permit management and pollution prevention programs. 14. Manage regulatory agency and customer activities, including reporting, visits, or inspections. 15. Lead continuous improvement actions, programs or processes on compliance assurance, incident preventions, injury prevention, pollution prevention and other EHS performance indicators. 16. Build collaborative and productive working relationships, networks with, and appropriately involves factory management team throughout daily operations. 17. Manage the infectious diseases with HR or relevant departments. Requirements: 1. Advanced degree (a minimum bachelor's degree) from an accredited university. 2. 7+ years’ working experiences in EHS within large or medium-sized foreign manufacturing factory. 3. Possess solid EHS knowledge and able to provide guidance within the team as well as EHS support to the other functions. 4. Solid understanding of ISO14001 & ISO45001 and relevant EHS laws, regulations and directives. 5. Process a detailed understanding of EHS legal requirements and provide regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, EHS engineering knowledge, best practices and EHS management systems. 6. Experience to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a manufacturing factory. Experience establishing and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships.
