About the Role

If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team who enjoys end-to-end market research projects, look no further. As a Senior Market Researcher for GoFood, you will be handed the reins in qualitative, quantitative, and analytical research for Gojek. Working closely with Business Strategists, Marketing, Analysts, you will even get to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to ensure Product & Market insights are fused throughout the business and product development process.

What You Will Do

  • Manage market research projects end-to-end (eg. Data Analysis, U&A study, Opportunity Sizing Study, Pricing Study, Conjoint Study, Competitive Analysis), and provide inputs for strategy development and execution
  • Lead the scoping of research and be accountable for research results and roadmaps for your Business counterparts
  • Gain knowledge of company, industry, & strategic opportunity and constraints, and become a go-to research expert for their stakeholders
  • Manage, provide guidance and feedback, and mentor junior researchers on a 1:1 basis
  • Employ best practices for product research in collaboration with Gojek group Research team
  • Work closely with Product research peers to ensure Product & Market insights are fused throughout the business and product development process

What You Will Need

  • Have at least 4 years of experience being a researcher who is exceptionally proficient in research methodologies and processes
  • Come from either a market research, analytics, or product research background
  • Be hybrid: knowledgeable about survey/quant research, qualitative research, and data analysis to derive insights
  • Have a proven track record of designing, executing, and participating research either hands-on or with external partners
  • Prove yourself as an effective mentor to your juniors, credible sparring partners, and stakeholder
  • Prove yourself to be able to manage project management effectively and successfully through diligent prioritization
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of business strategy, brand marketing,  data, product, operations, and partners effectively with those teams
About the Team
Our Research team consists of 8 people based in Jakarta where we are working alongside the GoFood Product teams. The gist of our role is to to deliver insights and recommendations within Gojek, including merging qualitative, quantitative, analytical, and business research. For instance, should you have a question about Product & Market insights, we are your people!
We work hard and play hard, and believe it or not, we actually enjoy each other’s company!
