The global Marketing, Communication and Public Affairs (MCP) team positions DNV as the credible thought leader and enabler of industry change in the energy transition, helps win business by creating demand for our services through best-practice marketing and communications aligned with business priorities; helps build an optimal employee experience and satisfaction; builds and maintains relationships with policy makers and industry stakeholders; scouts for commercial opportunities/ synergies from these relations. MCP consists of a Global Expertise and Service Centre and five regional Field Marketing teams, close to customers and markets.

To enable Energy Systems to achieve its strategic ambitions and become future fit, we need Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs professionals who support the business to meet customers’ expectations while also building a globally consistent premium brand for DNV in the energy market. The MCP team is therefore seeking a Field Marketeer Benelux residing in the Field Marketing team for Northern Europe to support the growth of Energy Systems in the Benelux region.

The MCP Field Marketeer is central point of contact for Market Area Managers (MAM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) for all MCP related matters, is member of the Regional MCP team and of the Global MCP function. You report to the MCP Business Partner of the region Northern Europe. In this role you will support the commercial teams in a geography and key account managers with high quality marketing services. You set the MCP priorities with the market area and key account managers upfront and measures return on marketing investment. You ensure a high-quality brand experience for customers in the region, with local flavour but in line with global quality standards. It’s very important to focus on the Energy Systems’ needs: you are a network builder and are able to connect and combine global business units, venture and growth segments. You plan and execute projects locally or through the Global MCP Expertise and Service centre. There will be close alignment with the global MCP team.

Primary tasks of this role:

  • Contributes to business growth by developing and implementing lead generating marketing plans for a market and key accounts, creating an optimal customer journey

  • Plans and executes marketing campaigns, including messaging, channel selection and account based, data-driven, digital and lead to revenue marketing tactics

  • Sets MCP targets, optimizes execution, and reports regularly on MCP KPI’s

  • Tailors global brand campaigns for specific market and Key Account use

  • Adopts and applies account-based marketing techniques

  • Ensures quality by working within the global MCP standards, systems, and channels

  • Advises and acts as Single Point of Contact for the Market Area Managers and Key Account Managers

  • Ensures needs from global Business Units and ventures are covered in local activities

  • Strong customer and market focus

  • Relevant marketing education, Bachelor level or higher

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and communications

  • Experience and/or a strong desire to working in an international team

  • Proven track record on team work

  • Used to connect with international stakeholders at all levels

  • Organization skills to meet deadlines and time schedules

  • Analytical and data focused

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch

  • Very familiar with the cultural differences within the region, has a strong affinity with the Dutch culture
