Germany is at the dawn of the implementation of a new funding instrument for research and development (R&D) activities. This funding scheme -the so-called ‘Forschungszulagengesetz’ (FZulG) was implemented on January 1, 2020. This new legislation makes it possible for 100.000 companies in Germany to apply for R&D refunds by means of tax credits, up to a maximum of 1 Mio. € per company (depending on the overall R&D expenses).
Although new for Germany, for Ayming this kind of funding scheme is already daily business: in most of the countries where Ayming has presence, such an instrument is in place for already many years. We support companies (from small enterprises up to very large industries) to apply and optimize such funding schemes, it is the key expertise of Ayming.
Key areas, what we expect from you:
Reporting to the Sales Director, and Corporate MARCOM Director, you will:
Set up the business expansion strategy
Design and implement Ayming (Digital) marketing strategy and be responsible for the related expenses
Identify new niches and markets and set up the go-to-market strategies
Monitor the market (investigate new segments, test your offers) and watch competitors
Analyse, plan and evaluate the product line performances
Be the driving force that fosters the integration between Sales, Delivery and the MarCom team.
Relate to internal stakeholders and provide competitive intelligence in order to refine the target audience, improve the value proposition
Propose and execute field marketing operations:
Generate and nurture leads as a main priority
Website development: optimize Ayming’s website performance by improving its site structure and conversion funnels based on Ayming’s marketing objectives and assist in the implementation of business requirements of the technology chosen
Feed our lead nurturing program through digital actions
Perform keyword research, bid management and funnel optimization;
Social media marketing: developing an online presence by attracting relevant internet followers through LinkedIn, Twitter and other relevant social media and networks through content curation and conversation management
Pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns: attract relevant visitors through Google Adwords and LinkedIn sponsored content
Assist and drive Ayming’s team in its social selling activities and optimize the usage of LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, PointDrive, …;
Keep up to date with digital trends, identify and implement untapped online media opportunities in support of Ayming’s business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
Run our on-line marketing campaigns
Improve business and product pitches
Manage and improve our database (prospects and clients) and manage our external partners; database providers, social media experts etc.
Take part of the internal MarCom activity and exploit best practice sharing
Report monthly on sales and marketing KPI’s & performance, P&L statements
Reinforce Ayming brand awereness and positioning in Germany
Evaluate and improve Ayming positioning and brand awareness
Copywrite communications content
Work with PR agency to develop content marketing
You are digitally savvy and at ease with a multitude of digital platforms
5/7 years of experience, background in the B2B sector with both high value-added services (Consulting companies, Banking, Startups, Marketing Agencies, Software, Telecom, Insurances etc.) strong marketing ops.
You look back on your first work experience in digital marketing and digital campaigns
Languages: excellent level to communicate seamlessly in German (C1 /native speaker) and very good command of English
You are proactive and have an open-minded attitude
You are independent and goal oriented
You have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing), or IT or equivalent by experience;
