What can you expect?

The company is currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to lead the Marsh Marketing and Communications for Thailand. This position is responsible for leading the overall country marketing in Thailand, and is accountable for the marketing strategy, planning, execution and outcomes of commercial risks priorities, localization and adaptation of digital, online and offline marketing content and channels, media relations, as well as driving demand generation of Marsh products, solutions and services in the market.

The role will align to the Marsh Asia regional initiatives while supporting and ensuring the success of the local in country business initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, Asia based in Singapore, the role will have a strong matrix reporting to Country Sales Leader.

The Country Marketing and Communications Manager will serve as the primary marketing point of contact that engages and collaborates with the country leadership team to understand their key priorities and goals.

The role will need to have a strong business acumen and a good understanding of how local marketing can positively impact the country’s P/L. This requires effective translation of the go-to-market strategies into actionable and measurable marketing programs, and reach our existing clients and new prospects with flawless execution of the brand and demand generation campaigns across various marketing channels.

The success of this role will be measured based on solid business partnerships, increase in inbound enquiries for the business, and positive brand experience among our colleagues, clients and communities. 

We will count on you to:

  • Define and deliver country-specific marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive demand generation, with strong alignment to the country’s priorities and goals.

  • Strategize, build and execute integrated marketing campaigns that involve various marketing channels including but not limited to: direct mail, email, online (website), digital / social, online / offline events and sales enablement.

  • Collaborate with regional marketing and communications team to ensure country marketing campaigns and content are consistent with corporate brand and editorial guidelines, and comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage local PR and media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases, pitching for media interviews and coverages, organizing media briefings and roundtable.

  • Plan and execute all client-facing online / offline events, including seminars, roadshows, sponsorships, associations etc, to deliver consistent brand and client experiences through the engagements.

  • Manage online and digital / social communication channels, such as Marsh intranet, Marsh external facing websites and LinkedIn or Facebook pages.

  • Manage internal communications, including employee engagements, senior management communications and announcements, internal products / solutions / services launch etc.

  • Plan and monitor the overall country marketing and advertising budgets and expenses.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of related marketing experience, ideally in field marketing.

  • Industry background in financial services, professional services or insurance is an added advantage.

  • Successful track record in fostering strong partnerships with country leadership team to achieve the country goals through customized field marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Proven experience in PR and media relations, conceptualization and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including email, digital, social, online and offline events, and production/localization of marketing content.

  • Strong written and oral communication in English. Proficiency in Bahasa and Chinese would be a plus.

  • Solid email and digital marketing knowledge and experience.

  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) proficiency is mandatory.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a strong desire to achieve results as a group.

  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time.

  • Proactive, self-driven and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced matrix environment.

  • Creative, innovative, and always think outside the box.

  • Metrics driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex sales and marketing data.
