Marketing & Communications | Virtual Events Project Manager

The Marketing & Communications delivery team supports all internal cross-channel communication services working with Marketing and Communications teams across Accenture.

The communication Project Manager will work in collaboration with Marketing and Internal Communications teams on the planning and execution of internal campaigns aimed at Accenture employees. The role will be responsible of coordinating the operations of the company massive mailing tool, WordPress-based intranet, analytics reporting, and the company broadcast / production platforms to host any virtual Live Events, among others.

As part of the daily work, the People Comms Delivery Associate Manager will need to connect with the different communicators, understand their needs and coordinate the execution of their campaigns in the internal communication channels. This role will work in collaboration with the service Specialists and Sr. Analysts and with the global operations manager, to align processes and operations to service and company strategy.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the operations of internal live events digital communication tools based on requests from internal requestors.
  • Interact with service and function leadership teams.
  • Act as an account manager for LT and senior stakeholders. Understand and coordinate the execution of their requests.
  • Act as an account manager for ad hoc and custom processes.
  • Help and train team to translate communication needs into proposals that align to company policies, guidelines, and technical restrictions of the tools.
  • Ensure service processes and operations are in alignment with company policies, guidelines, and technical restrictions of the tools.
  • Anticipate and address potential misalignment between client expectations and ability to deliver, be the first point of contact for service escalations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with local POCs, channel experts and service operations lead.
  • Identify and promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration opportunities across team.
  • Communicate effectively for developing team members through sharing on-going and timely feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Propose practical, differentiated solutions that are relevant to the client situation.
  • Understand usability principles and familiarity with agile methods and program management.
  • Teach others how to approach a task and add value.
  • Understand and maintain service metrics and reporting.
  • Contribute to team engagement.

Technical and Personal Skills:

Soft skills required

  • Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Business communication [verbal and written both].
  • Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Ability to organize work and have self-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate others.
  • Analytical skills and critical and on-ground thinking.
  • Comfort and naturalness to work with internal clients from different countries and cultures.
  • Proactive in the search and development of improvements.
  • Able to work as part of a team.

Hard skills required

  • Competent in office package: Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Understanding web traffic metrics and data analysis skills will be valued.
  • WordPress experience and/or HTML / CSS will be valued.
  • Experience using SharePoint or other workflow management tools will be valued.
