We have an opening for a Product Marketing Coordinator at our office in Richmond, BC. 


Product Marketers play a pivotal role spearheading effective programs to position products for success within the transportation and traffic engineering community. The Product Marketing Coordinator helps to ensure the “voice of the customer” is embedded in our marketing materials, supporting the work needed to deliver go-to-market plans across the globe. The role requires regular liaison with members of our Product Management, Corporate Marketing, Regional Marketing, Marcom, Sales and Development teams to create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. We expect our product marketers to know the market exceptionally well and understand how audience members think, who exactly they are, where they are, and what value they seek from our highly specialized engineering software. 


Planning & Research 

  • Support strategy and execution around product launches and demand generation. Develop product positioning and core messaging that resonates with a highly technical audience consisting of engineers, architects, planners and CAD technicians. 
  • Understand the target markets, decision maker personas, customer workflows, and segmentation strategy and how the new products support these markets.  
  • Conduct market research, gather industry trends and insights to support content creation and marketing efforts. 

Content Creation  

  • Develop customer-facing collaterals including blogs, case studies, webinar content, and data sheets to showcase each product’s unique value proposition for global and regional consumption. Write effective product copy for websites, email campaigns and landing pages.  Develop lead generation sales collaterals such as white papers, presentations, and videos.  
  • Create assets that enable the sales and services teams, strategic selling partners, sales channel partners to confidently communicate the product value and competitive differentiation of various products to customers, such as sell sheets, battle cards and target personas and others.   
  • Develop and plan proactive social media tactics to support product announcements, corporate news and marketing campaigns. Serve as voice of brand to consumers across all social platforms.  

Project Management and Communication 

  • Support the project management aspects for coordinating product launches and campaigns  
  • Coordinate all aspects of go-to-market plans, liaising with Product Management, Regional Marketing and Sales teams.  
  • Work collaboratively with product, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure high-impact launches and campaigns that drive customer and prospect adoption of new products and features. Manage internal communications to ensure key stakeholders are aware of marketing programs goals, plans, and outcomes. 


You have a passion for marketing and are an independent, creative person who isn’t afraid to take initiative and come up with new ideas. You are a storyteller and can translate technical content into messaging that connects to a critically technical audience. You have a flexible attitude and can change your approach quickly as new information and assignments are presented. The job is at time fast paced with tight deadlines, so an organized approach and a can-do attitude is important. 


  • Communication:  
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to both internal stakeholders and external parties. 
  • Strong written communication skills for copywriting. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a positive attitude. 
  • Exceptional skills at planning, organizing, implementing, and communicating integrated marketing plans across business lines and departments. Proven ability to coordinate and implement marketing plans that align with product lifecycles.  
  • Able to work in an international and matrix environment.  
  • Able to juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure within a team setting.  
  • High energy with the capability to flourish in a dynamic, growing organization.  
  • Demonstrated self-starter – ability to take an initiative and navigate ambiguity proactively 
  • Ability to travel globally - may be required from time to time.  


  • Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing or related or equivalent experience required.  
  • 2+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment is preferred. Software marketing experience is an asset. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a bonus.  
  • 2+ years’ experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software. Marketo experience is a bonus. 
  • Experience with digital marketing and use of Google Adwords and Google Analytics is essential.  
  • Experience with project management, productivity or GTD solutions such as Asana, Microsoft Planner.  
  • Proven experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
