Marketing Executive, Exhibitions (Visitor Promotion)

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks dynamic, high-caliber and experienced professionals to join our Exhibitions Department. To strengthen Hong Kong's role as Asia's international business platform, we organise more than 30 world-class international trade fairs in Hong Kong each year.  These fairs, which cover various industries and sectors, create opportunities for companies to promote their products or services to buyers from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• To assist project managers in devising and implementing buyer incentive programmes.
• To coordinate with overseas branch offices, consultants and agents in buyer-related matters.
• To handle operational work and liaise with hotels & airlines for buyers.
• To answer written and phone enquiries (English & Chinese) from buyers and overseas branch offices.
• To compute show-up rate of missions for evaluation and calculation of commission, consultant fee etc.
• To take charge of the operations of Buying Mission Service Counter & Visitor Promotion Counter during fair period.
• To perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• University graduate with a minimum of 3 years' solid relevant experience
• Strong command in English and Chinese. Fluent Putonghua.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS applications and Chinese word-processing
• Customer-oriented, good team spirit and able to work under pressure
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends or public holidays as necessary

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be offered.
