Marketing Executive, SMB

Full-Time Position

Reports to Marketing Director, UK SMB

Job Description

The key objective of the Marketing Executive will be to support the Field Marketing Managers in executing their marketing plan of events and programs to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation.

The role will get training and hands on experience of leading edge tools and programs including Marketo, Tableau and Salesforce.com. This training will enable the Marketing Executive to test and deploy campaigns, create registration pages, support webinars and deploy a wide variety of activities in support of overall goals.

This individual must be an excellent communicator, have strong cross group collaboration skills, be action oriented and be good at planning and organising workload.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

Planning: To contribute to the strategic planning of quarterly campaigns/activities.

Campaign Support: Building email templates, campaigns and landing pages in Marketo (marketing automation platform). Measuring success of individual campaigns via unsubscribes, open and click through rates.

Event Logistics Management and Support : Assist and support tradeshows, conferences, seminars and workshops including completing required paperwork, managing logistics, and lead upload processes.

Budget Management : Manage assigned budget for any activity including the procurement and invoicing process.

Content Review: Review content created by others in the team and support the distribution of content delivered through third parties, according to a set schedule.

Social Media: Support social media efforts and integrate into events and programs with support of team.

Collateral and Giveaway Management: Management and procurement of giveaways/collaterals/event properties including management of stock levels.

General Marketing: Update the shared marketing calendar and the promotional marketing board. Monitor the inbound marketing inbox and perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

Other Key Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of one to three years of experience in a marketing/sales support role
  • Experience in organising/supporting events
  • Must be extremely organised and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
  • Ability to work as a strong member of a cross-functional team
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and highly driven to exceed set goals
  • Understanding of marketing concepts/fundamentals
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly and become an expert user.
  • Experience with the Marketo platform or a similar marketing automation/email platform and/or experience of Salesforce.com
