What You Will Do

The primary responsibility is to lead overall JCI’s enterprise account management for customers in Oil & Gas and Real Estate industry in Malaysia ensuring that JCI achieves annual business targets, grows and maintains customer relationships with key customers and acts as the customer’s JCI regional point of contact. It also requires coordination across the whole region, defining growth strategies to help achieve annual business targets and to track and manage the assigned portfolio accounts. 

In addition, this role is also responsible for the marketing strategy for the Malaysia with activities include marketing budget planning, payback / ROI ownership, demand generation based campaigns planning and execution and strategic initiatives executed in partnership with the regional and global marketing team, country sales team, and communication team to enable and support business growth while driving up customer satisfaction. It requires developing frameworks, processes and measurements for success or metrics for the overall marketing plans. 

Role will report to the Executive Director Enterprise Accounts and Marketing Asia Pacific and Country General Manager Malaysia.

How You Will Do It

• Maintain excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders within the customer’s organization, acting as the customer’s regional point of contact, ensuring high customer satisfaction and ensuring that JCI remains as a trusted partner. 

• Coordinate cross-functional internal JCI teams to meet the customer’s requests in the pre-sales, sales and post-sales stages.

• Develop new areas of business with the customer, expanding the number of solutions and services currently being offered to the customer, helping the customer to their win increased business with their own clients.

• Maintain account meeting cadence, coordinating regular account meetings by regional and country to ensure timely activities and reporting on sales opportunities. 

• Work with Business Support Operations and Finance to routinely report on business performance, crafting detailed presentations to accurately report on the health of the account 

• Responsible for managing the regional opportunity pipeline – tracking opportunities to ensure increased win rates, supporting local teams in achieving this by leveraging customer relationships and sharing best-practice sales-related activities. 

• Harmonize relationship at leadership and management team, aligning strategies to ensure consistency and team success. 

• Maintain and continue to build strategic relationships with the customer’s senior stakeholders, identifying new strategies to improve market performance. Facilitate joint working groups to aid mutual growth.

• Responsible for the development, execution and coordination of marketing strategy, operations, campaigns and activities

• Lead projects of high complexity and oversee the creation of entire deployment packages for field/channel growth and marketing programs (customer events, tradeshows, branding, brochure, presentation, deployment guide, etc.)

• Lead tracking and effectiveness measurement while ensuring both regional and global consistency and support for important programs

• Collect, consolidate, and prioritize feedback from the field and incorporate them into field marketing programs that support the growth strategies

• Collects and provides research and analysis of market and customer intelligence

• Participate in sales and demand generation efforts; association events, lead association committees and projects

• Drive internal and external agencies to efficiently support our demand generation activities with effectiveness


 What We Look For
• 10-15 years sales, marketing, and enterprise account management work experience in operations from sizable multi-national corporations
• Familiar with Oil & Gas and Real Estate industry with experience working with major customers in Malaysia and Asia Pacific region
• Excellent English oral, written and presentation skills with ability to present to senior level executives as well represent the company at public or industry events
• Ability to comprehend and make significant contributions to development of business plans, including marketing strategies
• Entrepreneurial attitude, leadership abilities and ability to be a team player at all levels
