At a glance
Reporting to the GM of Thailand, the Head of Marketing will assist in the conceptualization, development, and execution of both strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. They will be required to strengthen Chope’s brand identity, grow its network of both diners and restaurants, and assist existing clients in improving their visibility and reservation numbers on Chope. Finally they will also be expected to work hand in hand with all other departments to ensure the success of the company.

About the role

  • Lead the conceptualization of campaigns for Chope’s various advertising channels, both online and offline
  • Ensure the cultivation of relationships with potential marketing partners, as well as the exploration of new partnerships, marketing avenues, and target markets
  • Manage Chope’s EDM channel, including the development of content, scheduling, and performance analysis
  • Oversee the management of Chope’s social media channels, including the development of content and analysis of reach and conversion as well as the execution of advertising campaigns, providing analysis after the conclusion of each campaign
  • Track and oversee the company’s marketing budget
  • Work closely with the VP of Regional Marketing in the development of long-term marketing strategy to grow reservation numbers to improve and grow the spread of Chope’s marketing initiatives available to new and existing restaurant clients
  • Manage a team of marketing executives, being able to recruit develop, retain their team while helping them to meet their relevant KPIs

Skills & experiences required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business or any related field
  • At least 8+ years of experience with a track record in growing a brand/business, with at least 5+ years in a leadership position preferably in the e-commerce space
  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and conscientious
  • Independent and result-driven mindset
  • Able to communicate persuasively and eloquently in English and Thai (written and spoken)
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and excel in a fast-paced work environment
  • Able to build and maintain positive, lasting relationships with clients
  • Expert computer literacy in Microsoft Windows and Office suite of software

While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, particularly in formatting tags
  • Experience in food and beverage operations, customer service, or events management
  • Connections in the Food & Beverage network
