The Role

Here at KIND, we are on the hunt for a thought leader to leverage data and resources and be part of the team that continues to bring KIND to life in Australia / NZ. As the Category & Customer Marketing Manager you will develop the overall category vision, building the best in class customer relationships and developing category growth insights. You will also be responsible for creating and executing customer activations for specific channels and customers that bring our brands to life instore and drives optimal physical availability promoting shopper conversion.

Working in a start up business like KIND, you will be challenged daily with having to adapt to changing demands, hence your ability to deal with ambiguity whilst collaborating and influencing internal stakeholders and external customers will be critical to your success.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working within category in an FMCG environment preferred;
  • Customer and/or marketing experience that includes selling and leveraging insights;
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills;
  • Business acumen and sales knowledge around cycle, trends and broader business implications to make recommendations and to help shape broader business strategy.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide category insights for all innovation, price & promo and range portfolio development;
  • Use a mix of market, shopper and customer insights to Identify customer growth opportunities and leverages;
  • Develop compelling insight led category solutions which influence shopper behaviour and convert more shoppers and transactions at the point of sale;
  • Formulate appropriate planograms and assortment, distributions, category and portfolio recommendations with clear customer selling stories across key projects / focus areas;
  • Ensure in-store POS and sales selling stories are tailored appropriately for assigned customer/channel and maximize conversion and impact in the retailer/channel;
  • Drive effectiveness and efficiency of below the line spends to ensure optimal and mutual ROI for both retailer and our exciting new brand.
