OVERALL FUNCTIONS / JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Performance Marketing Specialist drives the performance of native content through systematic campaigns to achieve optimal and specific results.


SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive each native ad (article, video, etc.) from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance metrics
  • Constantly optimize marketing activities for each native ad to improve our advertisers’ return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Allocate budgets, and analyze and recommend modifications to ad spends
  • Collaborate with StoryLabs teammates to guide A/B (or multivariate), incrementality, and spend-scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best
  • Test new distribution channels and trends
  • Optimize marketing budgets to maximize cost per acquisition (CPA) and efficiently scale native campaigns
  • Fulfill the following analytical functions: estimation and allocation of budgets, audience targeting and segmentation, evaluation of the performance of each channel, forecasting the performance of campaigns, etc.
  • Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns and retarget them across verticals: SEM, display advertising, social media, affiliate marketing, content-discovery platforms, etc.
    • Source and implement the most effective keywords, measure keyword performance, and optimize campaigns based on them
    • Manage ad placements, target relevant interests and topics, and use Google’s in-market audiences for search ads
    • Develop hypotheses and perform A/B testing to recommend optimization strategies
    • Leverage audience insights to better segment, target, and reach potential audiences and customers
  • Remain updated on new technologies and trends in performance marketing
  • Other duties assigned by the direct supervisor
Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in business studies/administration/management, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to various levels of campaigns with multiple ad platforms
  • Mastery of analytics and database tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Knowledge and prior usage of tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Outbrain, etc.
  • Proficiency in written English and attention to detail are a must.
  • 1-2 years of experience in performance marketing is a must
  • An independent, quick-thinking, and resourceful decision-maker who demonstrates a thorough understanding of key performance metrics on various channels.
  • Customer-centricity, flexibility, and grit are essential.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
