Our Opportunity

 The Inventory and Materials Coordinator is a member of the Supply Support Team and is accountable to the Supply Support Manager and, provides customer relations for the Asset Maintenance by providing materials support for the In-Service Support (ISS) Maintenance Teams for routine, emergent and corrective maintenance tasks performed on the Royal Australian Navy’s Armidale Class Patrol Boats (ACPB) vessels to ensure a timely and smooth flow of materials through the warehouse to ISS contractors.

About You

  • Competent in the use of Thales logistic databases/programs for materials planning including identification, availability determination, lead time determination and order placement.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and parts lists in order to identify required parts.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Package, with an intermediate level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong Verbal and written communication.
  • Developed interpersonal skills.
  • Work ethics and personal presentation.
  • Providing professional customer service.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
