We are looking for someone with a pro-active, can do attitude, who is not afraid to take initiative and doesn’t get scared by continuous change and is eager to improve day-to-day operations. The candidate will join the Breda warehouse & Logistics team and will be performing activities to support our internal and external customers. This position will be based in Breda and will report into the Senior Manager Distribution and Logistics.
Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts, suppliers and equipment and manufacturing operations in compliance with the company’s procedures and guidelines.
Provides all clerical and data entry functions for shipping and receiving including inventory / cycle count activities if needed.
Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries, follows up with suppliers in case of discrepancies.
Performs labeling of materials if required and performs put away activities.
Actively contributes to a safe and clean environment by maintain high cleaning standards.
Handling returns by active follow up, works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of returns including administrative tasks associated to this.
Collaborates with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries
Picking and packing all shipments from Repligen, reconciling PO’s, coordinating deliveries to end users or designated drop of points
May oversee and provide guidance to lower level personnel.
Establishes and maintain good working relationships.
Provide support to higher levels of the warehousing & logistics organization.
Willingness to work in a 2-shift model when business requires this in the future.
3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing operations, preferably in a scientific or chemistry-based manufacturing environment
Experienced in working with computers and SAP - EWM, preferably S4/HANA and online carrier services to generate shipping documents
Familiar with the use of RF scanner devices
Familiar with Lean, 5-S and continuous improvement programs
Working computer literacy using ERP systems, spreadsheets [Excel, Powerpoint]
Storekeeping and inventory control procedures are required
Detail oriented, structured, organized and is capable of planning
Familiar with GMP, ISO certification and incoming inspection procedures
Excellent math, organization, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift to 20-25 kg
Must be able to read, write and speak English given the international environment we operate in.
