Responsibilities:
+ Ensure all designs generated by Dematic team members and suppliers are appropriately reviewed per Dematic engineering processes and customer performance specifications including any applicable legal requirements.
+ Ensure all PMO (Project Management Organization) related tasks are taken into account in the integrated designs.
+ Ensure the project team delivers a system, which is integrated with building and services.
+ Complete regular status reporting across multiple projects.
+ To manage the development and maintenance of standard documents and processes aligned to the strategic program.
+ To guide , monitor and develop the team
+ Execute assigned RCA (Root Cause Analysis) on product or solution deficiencies identified during installation or operation of Dematic delivered products or systems.
+ This position is a Managerial position and as such the suitable candidate will need to professionally carry out the duties to complete performance reviews of all reporting personnel.
+ Work with Sales team to review future orders and internal design capacity
+ Maintain skills matrix for mechanical engineers and tasks applicable to strategic project team.
+ To proactively support and implement Process Excellence activities
+ To liaise with product centres and key suppliers where necessary
+ Build relationships with R&D teams to provide product feedback and understanding of product quality issues
+ Execute and work to improve the project risk management program to identify, mitigate, control and/or monitor the project risks.
+ Promote consistent and quality standards across the projects , which are aligned to customer expectation and the global program
+ Review resource plan with skills matrix to provide correct balance of skill set to achieve deliverables

+ To ensure that lead engineers complete accurate, relevant and timely status reporting.
+ To ensure adherence to schedule for key mechanical tasks.

+ Perform, support and/or coordinate periodic independent reviews to confirm that the design and other work is in compliance with the customer contract terms, technical documents, specifications, codes laws, regulations and standards.
+ Ensure that project lead is highlighting technical opportunities and potential change orders and review proposed changes.

+ Engineering degree or relevant work experience that is equivalent.
+ Substantial experience of involvement (ideally within a management role) in Warehouse Project Engineering or Project Management role.

+ Ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.
