FluidIntel operates in the Industrial IoT market, optimising and digitising supply chains of bulk commodities. Our clients include six of the world’s largest mining companies as well as major rail operators. The company currently manages 3.5 billion litres of diesel per annum.

Due to a growing portfolio of projects, both domestic and international, we are seeking 2 Project Engineers with experience in control and instrumentation systems to join our project and engineering team.

Located in our North Sydney office, this opportunity will prove an interesting and challenging technical environment, with guidance provided from senior engineers and project managers. Following training, the role will require up to 50% domestic and international travel to project sites depending on workload. Please consider this in your application.

To be considered you must be able to carry out the following duties and possess the required skills and attributes:

  • Ensure successful completion of Mechanical and or electrical designs, documentation and project engineering
  • Participate in the completion of in-house testing, integration and documentation of third party hardware for client facing development
  • Ensure the successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing phases for projects allocated
  • Install and commission systems on site within time and budget, including client handover and training
  • Assist in development of detailed project costings for project proposal


Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an Australian institute
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Advanced investigation and troubleshooting skills of hardware and software systems
  • Very good understanding of instrumentation and control systems
  • Experience in Autocad
  • Experience in Autocad Electrical and Vault will be highly regarded
  • Project Management experience will be highly regarded
  • Able to write clear and concise technical reports and user guides
  • Computer literate with basic understanding of networking
  • Must have a valid driving licence and eligibility to work in Australia
