Senior Media Consultant

What is the purpose of the role:

This role sits within our German Media team which provides campaign analysis as well as wide range of ad hoc and ongoing consultancy projects for our clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Consultancy of at least four different media types, including TV, Digital, OOH, Radio and Print.
• Summarise findings and present meaningful and insightful reviews to clients
• Focal point for agency contact to resolve most issues.
• Management of the end to end delivery and consultancy process for a subset of clients across Ebiquity’s core products
• Mentor and management junior team members who support the delivery process
• Develop client proposals, assisting in contract negotiating and being involved with new business and consultancy efforts.

What will you bring to the role:

• You’ll have 6 years + first-hand experience of TV buying and/or digital media planning (programmatic and IO)
• An analytical mind with demonstrable numeric ability
• A comprehensive understanding of the offline media marketplace and what the current issues are
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Supporting the Managing Director on New Business
• An inquisitive mind and keenness to understand how media channels can be used to optimum effect
• Awareness of what constitutes good media planning, the process involved and what represents good planning documentation
• Broad knowledge of all offline media and in-depth capability within TV and preferably three other media channels
• Ability to use industry research tools proficiently and knowledge of how to interrogate that data effectively
• You will have good consultative and communication skills
• You will have experience of presenting to groups of people
• Ability to work under pressure
• You will have strong computer skills (focus on Excel & PowerPoint)
• Able to resolve conflict
• Supervisory skills, experience of managing/mentoring people
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling easy agency and client contact and the ability to grow those relationships
• Fluent in German and English
