Media Domain Lead

Jakarta, Indonesia

The Media Domain Lead is in a client-facing role, reporting to the Insights local CEO / MD.  This role will lead Kantar’s Media and Digital initiatives with opportunities to elevate our offer to clients’ business issues and delivering value and impact to clients through the application of our media domain expertise.

The candidate for this role will drive growth and possess capabilities that extend beyond the knowledge of products and research processes. As a Domain Expert, your domain expertise is highly sought after; you are able to demonstrate thought leadership showing how business outcomes are achieved via our offer and provide input into the global offer development, delivering ROI to clients.

Key Outcomes:

  • You will be responsible for the development and execution of the media and digital business plan.
  • Actively engage in new business development activities with existing clients, prospects and new market sectors.
  • Achieve the media and digital sales target assigned to this role.
  • Provide media & digital leadership and inspiration to Client Service teams.
  • Lead media and digital training, case studies and learning’s for Client Service and clients internally and externally.
  • Set up procedures and best practices for media and digital solutions.
  • Contribute to innovation and building reputation as a media and digital leader.
  • Avidly networking within Kantar, building relationships with client leads and other domain experts and seeking out ways to partner and add value across the client portfolio.

Key Capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 to 10 years’ relevant market research experience with direct involvement in selling, conducting, analysis and reporting.
  • Possess brand and advertising industry knowledge, project management skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A love of brands, people and insight and the passion for digital and new media.
  • A team player, great communicator, negotiator and influencer.
  • Commercial acumen and accountability within the media domain and broader teams.
  • Be seen by the client as an expert in the media field – by using your knowledge, putting the advice in context and providing clear recommendations and ROI.
