Your Role

  • Lead and align medical-scientific strategies within the Country Leadership Team (CLT), partnering with Market Access and Commercial teams.
  • Ensure effective medical governance by translating regional strategies into local plans, managing KTL processes, and providing medical training and education.
  • Provide strategic medical direction, collaborating with key external stakeholders and fostering a strong Medical Affairs network.
  • Define and execute country medical priorities, adhering to the highest scientific and quality standards to enhance the company's market position.
  • Represent Medical Affairs LATAM, ensuring medical governance and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align with GMA, MAP, and Commercial partners to define and achieve medical objectives that match local, regional, and global strategies.
  • Design and lead the execution of Medical Affairs Strategic Plans (MASP) for product life cycles, in alignment with global and local medical and marketing imperatives.
  • Lead relationships with key thought leaders (KTLs), institutions, and academies, and define scientific activities and clinical studies at the country level.
  • Manage the local Medical Affairs team, including Medical Managers, MSLs, MSL Coordinators, and PSP, ensuring scientific support and reducing access barriers for patients.
  • Collaborate with the compliance program, establish appropriate procedures for clinical programs, maintain internal connections, lead advisory boards, and ensure quality document management and training for the Medical Affairs team

Who you are:

  • University degree (Doctor) as Physician is requested
  • Mastership, Fellowship or Clinical Specialization is requested
  • Proved training/experience in Epidemiology, RWD, Clinical Pharmacology and/or Administration is requested
  • Professional, clinical or research experience required
  • Previous Medical Manager experience required
  • Previous experience leading teams and/or mentoring new hires and working in teamwork required
  • Ability to work and develop Highly Effective Strategic Teams
  • Proved ability to lead and develop medical teams/preferred
  • Strong leadership skills required (direct team or matricial organization)
  • Advanced scientific knowledge, relationship building, networking and negotiation skills
  • Fair knowledge of evidence-based medicine concepts, applied biostatistics and Pharmacoeconomics are desirable
  • English language competency (minimum 90%- written and oral) and fluency in local language
