As a Medical Science Lead (d/f/m), you will help ensure that Patient Reported Outcomes are recorded in every hospital in the future.
This position offers you a unique opportunity to significantly improve the lives of many patients and at the same time the work of your medical and nursing colleagues in the hospitals! You will use your scientific expertise to develop the right sets for the clinics, support operational processes in the Medical Affairs and Medical Content team and ensure the medical quality of our software.
Provide internal guidance to all teams on medical evaluations in the development of medical surveys
Accompanying process integration of Real World Evidence in client meetings with physicians and scientists
Evaluation of clinical study concepts
Selection and compilation of questionnaires and sets for specific indications
Research and evaluation of medical literature
Review of medical content to comply with Medical Device Regulation requirements
Staff training on medical indications and PROM methodology
Concept development and writing of proposals, white papers and scientific publications
You are a highly motivated team player who wants to help make a difference for physicians and patients.
3+ years of professional level clinical experience, preferably in a medical or pharmaceutical environment
B.S. degree from an accredited university (e.g. in nursing, Public health, Psychologie, etc.); PhD or MD, or relevant higher degree is a plus
Experience with Patient Reported Outcomes (PROM) or Real World Evidence (RWE) helps you in your daily work
Proven track or sound knowledge in scientific practice
Knowledge in literature research of scientific articles, studies and international guidelines
Already published papers in scientific journals are an advantage
Good German language skills at an academic level, both written and spoken (at least B2, we are happy to support you on your way to C1 level with a German course)
Ability to grasp complex issues quickly
Independent and structured way of working and high level of commitment
Desire to proactively develop and be part of a strong team
Basic understanding of psychometrics incl. item response
