Faurecia’s VIE Program?

The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

Your position and environment?

Our  Faurecia Interior Systems Business Group – Asia Pacific Division  is looking for you as a VIE – Method Injection Engineer m/f for our site   in  Rayong, Thailand .

Your role and responsibilities?

Your main missions will be to

  • Make sure Quality Response Continuous Improvement (QRCI) indicators reflect customer expectations
  • Define, together with the Expert Setters of the other shifts, Senior Expert Setter and Supervisor, QRCI targets for the GAPs (improvement versus actual situation)
  • Monitor performance during the shift and report accurate data at the end of the shift
  • Manage resources to reach results: organize changeovers, regulate batch sizes, monitor Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) results, breakdown percentage through effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • React in case of a problem: support technical staff ,follow reaction rules, call support functions, build corrective   action plans, monitor key performance indicators within technical competence function
  • Replace Setters when necessary
  • Drive actions for improvement:
  • Know team problems, seek feedback
  • Define area for performance improvements
  • Drive teamwork and problem-solving activities, lead QRCI and workshops (5S,   TPM, SMED, scrap reduction program …)
  • Drive improvement ideas generation and implementation
  • Ensure audits of standardized work are conducted for changeovers on a daily basis and ensure corrective actions are taking place.
  • Audits once a week with Setter for TPM compliance and evolution
  • Aims to devote 50% of his/her time to improvement actions  

The mission will last 12 months.



Who are you?

  • Master degree in Plastic Engineering or related fields
  • Fluent in English
