In order to reinforce the Commercial Team of the Swiss affiliate, we are looking for a Sales Manager (Switzerland)


  • Lead a high performing team, cultivating a “winning culture” that is customer focused, accountable, and inspire team performance
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a vision and strategy that is aligned to the therapeutic area and the brands
  • Set high expectations for customer value creation, monitor performance, and take appropriate, constructive action, in line with external and Lilly policies
  • Understand the health of the team and facilitate group interactions that engage and inspire positive performance
  • Drive transformational mindset focused on balancing in person and digital touchpoints to customers
  • Be accountable for execution of the business plan with discipline and focus and responsibility.

The candidate

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Economics or Marketing, as well as a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Shows and can prove strong business acumen and leads with Lilly’s values of integrity, excellence and respect for people
  • Has experience in sales, sales management or similar commercial activities, preferably in pharmaceutical industry
  • Shows excellent organizational skills and is digitally savvy
  • Is fluent in either German or French and has good command of the other language on top of English; good knowledge of Italian a plus
  • Must live in and be willing to travel throughout Switzerland to support the team via virtual calls, dual days and attend customer events.
