In this role, you will be responsible to lead and execute short to long-term projects, with the mission to support the business/region/function through the use of Enterprise Excellence tools and expertise to drive business growth. These projects address critical business functions with the goal to improve the related process and enable growth. The Black Belt will identify options & gain approval for best alternatives from the Project Sponsor, Deployment Leader & support from managers engaged in project implementation.

What You Will Do:

  •  To liaise with the Branch Manager, Branch Administrator, Service Manager and further Service Specialists covering the same geographic area.

  • To be conversant with, and observe the policies and procedures as detailed and attached to your letter of appointment and the Sales and Administration handbook.

  • To comply with the Company Codes of Practice, i.e. the personal rules of conduct, the company rules of conduct, the rules that satisfy the client and the safety codes of conduct.

  • Locate potential customers through the following sources:

  • Enquiries from potential customers

  • Leads from other members of the staff, customers or members of the public

  • Calls on existing clients

  • Cold calls

  • Inspect client’s premises thoroughly for any signs of pests, find out whre they are entering the premises, travelling, harbouring and feeding.

  • Complete a treatment instruction and price calculation on the inspection report accordance with the current price list.

  • Report your findings to the client and give your proposals for the treatment. Describe the benefits of the service and give the price for the work.

  • When the client accepts, obtain his signature on the service agreement if the work is to be done under a new contract.

  • Make every effort to encourage existing clients to retain our services.

  • Achieve the ratio targets set by your Branch Manager.

  • Organise your work by the proper use of planning sheets and sales cards.

  • Ensure that your vehicle is always kept secure, clean, tidy and in a roadworthy condition.

  • Drive safely and courteously.

  • Complete the daily sales report and other relevant paper work and ensure that it reaches the office at specified intervals.

  • Forward other returns for example expense claims, sales plans to the office at specified intervals.

  • Maintain telephone contact with the office according to the instructions given to you by your Branch Manager.

  • Carry out regular inspections on certain client’s premises of which you will be notified.

  • Assist on occasional with the collection of debts when asked to do so.

  • Deal with all customer complaints as a matter of urgency and in full accordance with Company policy.

  • Deal with all terminations as a matter of urgency and in accordance with company procedures.

  • Application to such studies and such courses of training as may be necessary from time to time to enable you to maintain a high degree of expertise in all aspects of your job.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience in Sales management position
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to influence/persuade decision makers and motivate team members.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Effective at dealing with resistance to change
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Self-driven and results oriented.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
