Salary Range: $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually.
Our rapidly growing company is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced, customer-driven, and reliable Network Engineer Data I to help our Northern Virginia client manage their Cisco-based data center network and infrastructure. This person will support all aspects of the planning, design, management and support of our client’s network system which transmits data, voice, and video (with an emphasis on data). This is a full-time, W2 position slated to support a contract opportunity that will last 1-3 years.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the management and oversight of select group of networked systems, including the planning, analysis, design, development, modification, installation, integration, maintenance testing, operational integrity assessment, and backup for the networked IT systems.
Installs, configures, and troubleshoots network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, modems, multiplexers, and concentrators.
Identifies, analyzes, and remedies complex network related problems, to include security protocols and measures.
Develops and implements configuration management plans.
Develops and maintains procedures for local network, infrastructure, system, product assembly and installation.
Prepares recommendations, justifications, and specifications for LANs, WANs, and WLANs, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Virtual Machines (VMs) or Networks; and VoIP equipment.
Creates and maintains documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
Support weekly client update meetings.
Occasional overtime and/or weekends based on maintenance/update needs.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
