Cloud Network Engineer

You will have the opportunity to

• Develop scripts and code automated deployment of resources (PaaS, IaaS and network) in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services
• Provide base support for the Azure platform network environment (troubleshooting issues, assisting customers with problems, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal and external parties (especially Microsoft) to help design and implement the Azure platform environment
• Minimal rotational L2 on-call support, depending on each team
• Encouraged to pursue cloud vendors’ certifications (company sponsored)

What we look for in you

• Degree in Engineering/IT or close to graduating
• Advanced verbal and written communication English skills
• Continuous learning mindset
• Understanding of cloud technologies/concepts (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Expertise of general network concepts such as address space, CIDR notation, subnet, protocol, routing, NSG
• Familiarized with network Routing protocols such as BGP
• Knowledgeable in network Hub-Spoke models, specifically in the cloud
• Scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash, Korn Shell)
• Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g. Git), experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TFS / Azure DevOps, GitLab)

It is a plus if you

• Worked in an Agile organization
• Have prior experience with any cloud vendor (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Have experience in network design and path-based global routing using BGP
• Are proficient in building highly scalable and reliable cloud services
• Acquired cloud platform certifications (e.g. AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner)
