NVH Engineer JR Global Product Organization

Location: Joinville, Brazil

Function Overview

• Supports the projects within NVH requirements with a strong cross functional development and cooperation.
• Continuous improvement within the Quality team for day to day activities.
• Interacts with NVH labs for development and approval testing.
• Maintains NVH database with supportive analysis and opportunities evaluations.
• Helps to develop the strategy and new test methods with cooperation with NVH engineers of other regions (NVH Team).
• Scope ideas and bring them to the execution using the Whirlpool Product Development methodology.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead FMEA development for NVH.

• Lead and actively participate in technical design previews and Critical Analysis.

• Develop, review and coordinate test programs for NVH related to projects.

• Analyze, evaluate and document data.

• Identify, analyze and solve issues in a structured and robust way.

• Support idea generation in workshops to develop cost and qualitycost&quality pipelines.

• Scope ideas in order to understand project feasibility (technical / financial).

• Analyze GSIR information to generate insights on field trends and lead quality projects.

• Interact with internal and external stakeholders as part of the project execution (Suppliers, Procurement, Subsystems, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality, Project Management).

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in MechanicalMechnical Engineering

• Some experience in NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness)

• Good Analytical skills

• Proficient in English

• Good communication skills

• Understanding of Statistics

• Proactive

• Teamwork skills

Preferred Requirements

• Intermediate user of Google Sheets/Slides

• Project management understanding
