We are looking for an exceptional HR & Office Manager who is a natural at all things HR and administration, and can operate with high autonomy. You will be a champion for enhancing Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all Sunfedites. The successful person will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of Sunfed and be part of a highly innovative team.

You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main HR administrative duties include responding to compliance issues and maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides), and coordinating the smooth running of the office. Our ideal candidate has proven experience with HR procedures and employment law, and can juggle various administrative tasks effortlessly. Responsibilities include:

  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Manage compliance issues such as non-conformance with H&S, Hygiene and Confidentiality protocols and facilitate internal investigations as needed
  • Coordinate performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Organize and maintain up-to-date personnel records
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Prepare HR documents and office policies, like employment contracts and onboarding playbooks
  • Perform employee on-boarding, including setting up employee digital devices, accounts and access controls
  • Liaise with external HR partners, like agencies
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expenses
  • Provide general administrative support to employees such as scheduling meetings
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
  • Receive and monitor visitors
  • Liaise with office vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services


Does this sound like you?

  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • You have proven experience as an HR Manager or a very similar role.
  • You have thorough knowledge of employment laws and keep yourself up-to-date.
  • You have experience working with software systems and are digitally-savvy.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail, nothing gets past you!
  • You have an eagle eye for detail and are a stickler for accuracy.
  • You are a strong Project Manager, your organisational skills are second to none.
  • You have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time, all while operating at speed!
  • You are an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, and are comfortable talking with staff at all levels.
  • You have proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, nothing phases you.
  • You thrive under pressure in a fast-paced agile dynamic environment, enjoy R&D and constant change.
  • You LOVE people and want to see them thrive to their fullest potential!
