The Cloud Ops Engineer plays a key role in the Cloud Operations department, monitoring and supporting for our Internet-based Commercial Infrastructure service environment. Maintaining reliable, high performance and redundant infrastructure services is critical to the success of Cvent. We are looking for high caliber engineer with ability to think and work independently, take ownership and responsibility of high growth infrastructure to ensure the overall stability of production site(s).

Position Duties:
+ Request fulfilment, Incident, Change, Release, Problem and knowledge management as per ITIL process
+ Regularly examine multiple monitoring systems for unexpected deviations. Troubleshoot alarms with well-defined procedures. Escalate problems to the appropriate internal or external resource and follow up to resolution
+ OS patching schedule setup and execution
+ Configure custom alerts/checks/thresholds for various application services and severs in multi-tenant environment
+ Automation/tooling through basic scripting.
Candidate Requirements
+ 0-1 years of experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a Technical discipline with CGPA 7.5 or above.
+ Basic knowledge of operating systems like Windows and Linux.
+ Conceptual knowledge of networking.
+ Awareness of modern and emerging technologies like AWS etc.
+ Outstanding oral and written communication skills
+ This role is expected to work on rotational schedules, mornings & evenings, weekends, holidays to support our 24x7 high availability systems and infrastructure.
+ Basic scripting skills in any language is preferred.
