Job Description

This role is responsible for working with various financial data source systems across multiple US and European markets; analyzing the financial data, and creating consistent and accurate reporting that reflects the payments Pfizer has made to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCO) to meet the US FDA and European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) reporting requirements.
This role will work directly with US and EFPIA payment colleagues located in Bucharest, Budapest or Warsaw, and indirectly with many others not located in different EU countries and New York City where Pfizer is headquartered via conference/video calls. Contributes to the effort to generate high quality, accurate, and consistent data incorporated into the postings, filings and reports related to Healthcare Professional (HCP) Payment Disclosure including Sunshine Act Reporting and EFPIA Financial Disclosure. The colleague will also be responsible for reconciling payment and other transfers of value data from various financial and project management systems across the organization, as well as from external third parties.
The colleague must bring a level of operational and repetitive accuracy in providing high-quality service reconciling large volumes of data while ensuring compliance with the established procedures. The position also requires a strong commitment to the continuous improvement vision.
+ Conduct the data clarification process across data sources to ensure data integrity including our ability to accurately associate payments with a unique HCP in order to produce accurate and timely financial data required for disclosure.
+ Data clarification includes accurately associating payments to a unique HCP profile ID from our database of HCP profiles through the utilization of a look up utility.
+ Research and evaluate HCP profile data, including conducting internet research to ensure that we can accurately identify an HCP.
+ Analyze payment transactions to cancel out credit and debit amounts .
+ Assisting the EFPIA Data Stewardship , consent management, cross board mailbox management and CRO data collecting for specific EU markets per request to meet EFPIA Transparency Reporting requirements.
+ Assisting the Financial Disclosure team with the FDA financial disclosure reporting requirements
+ Search financial systems to perform and complete due diligence checks and Financial Disclosure payment searches.
+ Review and upload Financial Disclosure information to the Financial Disclosure Database (FDD).
+ Assist with preparation of FDA submissions (Section 1.3.4 Financial Disclosure).
+ Manage gap of potentially missing clinical investigator Financial Disclosure forms.
+ Provide basic assistance on the State Reporting , Transparency in Grants per request.
+ Mailbox management; Respond to ad hoc requests for clarification, additional information and/or reports regarding HCP payments.
+ Contribute and adhere to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) data standards.
+ Cooperate with BT, CRO, third parties or the other source stakeholders for payment data collecting; respond to queries as needed.
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and other system enhancements aimed at improving the quality of the data.
+ Assist in CMS submission for Sunshine reporting .
+ Contribute to special projects as required by the Transparency Team.
+ Support payment transparency and HCP disclosure initiatives across additional geographic locations as they evolve beyond the existing US and EFPIA responsibilities.
