This position is responsible for managing Operational and Customer Service activities in Cosentino Center related to shipping/receiving material, organization & inventory management, orders and delivery, supervising warehouse employees, drivers, and customer service representatives.
The Operational Manager is responsible for all operations at our Center in Brisbane (receiving, picking, loading, shipping) in order to make sure they are carried out correctly. Responsible for demand planning, replenishment, inventory and service levels for Oceania.
-Demand and inventory planning for our center in Yatala
-Place purchase orders to the factory in Spain to meet the optimal inventory for Oceania
-Follow up on purchase orders so they are loaded from the factory on time
-Follow up in transit material with sea-lines
-Make sure inbound containers are delivered to the center, unloaded and returned to the port in a timely manner
-Support to Oceania Centers on the replenishment process from the center or the factory
-Create picking instructions and shipment documents for customers and Centers
-Communicate to customers and Centers any issue that may occur
-Book transport for all shipments from the Cosentino center
-Gather data to report the KPI's
-Keep records of work and activity
-Order office supplies, tools, services
-Follow up and manage repairs, maintenance contracts, daily checks.
-Review transport and suppliers invoices
-Minimum 3 years demonstrated working experience in a similar role.
Education and Certifications:
-Desirable degree in Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration.
-Very good use of ERP's (SAP knowledge desirable).
