We are seeking a strategic and solutions focused leader to join IDEXX, the global market leader in veterinary diagnostics, as the Commercial Excellence & Sales Operations Manager - ANZ. Reporting to the Associate Director, General Manager (Commercial) – ANZ, this will be a transformative role in which you will be responsible for leading the operational planning and delivery of our strategy-to-execution efforts. Drawing on your experience in commercial roles across Sales, Marketing, Training and Field Force Effectiveness, you will be the thought leader responsible for setting a clear path to direct, develop, measure and reward our customer facing team members. A strategic thinker, able to distil the complex to clear plans of action, you are a skilled communicator that builds strong professional relationships across stakeholders, enabling high levels of engagement and buy in.
The key elements of this role:
Establish and lead the ‘sales force effectiveness and optimisation strategy’ by being the go-to person for strategy-to-execution alignment.
Be the key liaison between Marketing and Sales, to enable world’s best practice for commercial execution
Be the ANZ lead within the IDEXX global Sales Operations ‘centre of excellence’ community
Coach, lead and develop your team to deliver the full scope of Sales Operations deliverables including data analytics, Incentives, CRM administration, Sales Training, customer contract administration and meetings & events
Lead the production and delivery of our annual Sales Meetings calendar to ensure the effective implementation of marketing strategies, team member development and field force effectiveness
Deliver carefully constructed training and development across Sales Managers and customer facing team members to ensure the presence of required competencies
You will have:
A tertiary degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Extensive experience in a sales leadership focusing on field force effectiveness in a global organisation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proven establishment & execution of a sophisticated, value-adding sales operations function in a small-medium business
A proven track record of being a results-driven leader, with a knack for complex & creative problem solving
Experience in coaching and developing successful teams
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally to align on strategic direction.
A background in FMCG, technology or a life science discipline will be advantageous!
