As the Operations Manager, you will drive our company forward by maintaining the engine (process management), adding fuel to the fire (obtain and manage external resources), and greasing the gears (ensuring that every employee is meeting targets).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (marketing and business development, admin, finance and outsourcing etc.) to ensure progress and action
  • Identify gaps in our existing resources and seek the necessary external resources or recruitment needs
  • Hire external resources/freelancers and manage them in order to meet specific project needs
  • Develop, establish, and direct the execution of operation processes to keep the company engine running soundly
  • Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against targets
  • Manage the daily performance of the team. Use good meeting and project planning practices to drive focus and results
  • Manage individual performance by establishing daily or weekly operating objectives for each employee with weekly reviews
  • Develop and implement operational optimization through automation, process improvements or other productivity measures while maintaining high quality standards, rapid response times, high reliability and cost effectiveness
  • Oversee the human resource function, including: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, offboarding, compensation and benefits administration etc.
