The Business
Our client is a leading privately owned dental business.  They have enjoyed consistent and sustained growth over several years and have managed this growth while maintaining a key focus on quality delivery, patient  experience, client satisfaction and staff engagement.  Family owned and led by two passionate dental sector professionals, this is a business that is underpinned by a core set of company and personal values that are modelled throughout the business and felt by all stakeholders, patients and clients.
The Role
In response to the business's successes and to prepare for ongoing expansion, our client now looks to appoint an  Operations Manager. This recently redesigned role will be based at the Head Office in Tullamarine and have joint management responsibility for a fixed practice site in Coburg plus the operational oversight and leadership for the mobile services currently operating in Victoria and NSW.
  
Core responsibilities will include:
  • Staff management of team leaders, administration/reception staff and dental assistants
  • Oversight and management of daily operational functions of the practice and mobile business nationwide
  • Coordinating rosters, managing leave requests and ensuring the service commitments of the business are met
  • Leading and modelling quality services, ensuring all staff are appropriately training and educated on policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders to the business
  • Prepare and operationalise smart business plans, financial targets and team goals
  • Participate and contribute to the overall success of the business through your team orientation, clear and effective communication style, commitment to excellence and focus on delivering above and beyond for clients
About You
It is anticipated that the successful candidate for the Operations Manager position will be a proven dental manager - Practice Manager, Operations Manager or similar.  You will be familiar with contemporary HR practice, currently managing and inspiring a team of staff, be familiar with reviewing and updating policies and procedures and demonstrate a leadership style that creates an opportunity for staff to flourish and excel.  You will be passionate about a career in the dental sector and understand the importance in promoting good oral hygiene at all stages in a person's life.  You will be naturally confident with technology and enjoy being in a role where there is high level responsibility, autonomy and accountability.
