Jazz flies over 100 aircraft daily to over 80 destinations as an Express carrier for Air Canada. When our aircraft aren’t flying, they are busy moving from gate to gate or to our Maintenance hangar for work packages. This is where you come in! Our Jazz Tow Operators are well trained, safety minded men and women who move aircraft around the terminal via our towing vehicles. Tow Crew members are always teamed up to ensure the safety of the aircraft and the employees. Live taxiways, radio communications with Ground Control and our own Operations Coordinators, as well as driving some mighty tractors are only the beginning of this exciting position. Key Responsibilities:
  • Instrumental in the safe movement and towing of company aircraft, including mobile support, wing walking and jet-way operation.
  • Inspecting ground equipment;
  • Performing duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers, the safety of customers and the safety of company assets;
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduation;
  • Valid driver's license;                                                        
  • Demonstrated ability to operate ground vehicle equipment (300 pound weight restriction on some equipment);
  • Should not be afraid of heights;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a RAIC (restricted area identification card).
