Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Organisational Development Advisor to join the HR team at the Superpit operation in Kalgoorlie.

This residential opportunity is set on a 5:2/4:3 Roster, working 9.5 hour days.

The Organisational Development Advisor will coordinate site wide activities in a range of Organisational Development (OD) initiatives across talent management, performance, diversity and inclusion, employee experience and leadership development to support the company's ability to retain and develop talent.

The successful incumbent will design, implement and evaluate OD interventions to increase employee engagement, workforce capability, developing a culture of innovation and continuous learning and development across site.

Requirements

Essential

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources, including operational experience in Organisational Development, Learning and Development or Generalist Human Resources.
  • Studies in human resources, industrial relations or a related discipline, or significant practical experience to an equivalent level.
  • Excellent time management, coordination and organisational skills.
  • Significant experience and ability at an advanced level in the use of relevant computer systems and software.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills enabling professional communication at all levels of the organisation.
  • A strong understanding of the principles of confidentiality and business ethics
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in coaching, facilitation and consultancy methodologies.
  • Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture
  • Must reside in the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate.
  • Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.

Preferred

  • Experience within the Mining or Heavy Industrial sectors.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating workshops with adult learners.
  • Proven experience in delivering and evaluating OD, employee engagement and leadership interventions to support culture and management of change.
  • Advanced skills in using Excel and Access (or other relationship databases)
  • Ability to be well organised and confident in handling heavy workloads and competing priorities.
  • Ability to exercise judgement, initiative and work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in an agile manner within an innovative environment.
