Cascadia Metals is seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be a permanent, full-time position and is located at our Saskatoon, SK branch.

  • Proven business acument
  • A good instinct for sales and building relationships with customers
  • Driven and results oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with strong ability to track, manage, and follow through on details
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as report to a sales supervisor and management.


  • Achieving all territory business objectives including sales goals and growth
  • Developing, implementing and executing a territory business plan
  • Prospecting / cold-calling for additional business to create new customer relationships
  • Maintaining existing customer partnerships, building strong and lasting relationships with new customers
  • Delivering superior customer experience to achieve account retention and growth
  • Identifying and reporting market trends and competitor information with sales team members
  • Maintaining a level of knowledge on products
  • Supporting inside sales team where required
  • Acting as a role model for Cascadia Metals standards, values and behaviours


  • Vehicle ownership (driver's abstract may be requested)
  • Ability for overnight travel (during weekdays)
  • A post-secondary degree and previous experience in steel industry is considered an asset
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience
