Payroll Specialist, Practice, Kilkenny

Our client is a leading specialist professional services firm. They are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to join their Payroll Services Department on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team at a time of exciting growth and development to take up this key role.

Responsibilities

• End to end processing of payroll for your own portfolio of clients
• Maintaining and developing relations with your clients
• Liaising with clients to deal with queries and resolve issues
• Training and coaching of junior team members
• Dealing with starters and leavers registration on ROS
• Filing the PAYE submission using ROS for all clients
• Setting up new clients
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate:

• IPASS qualified
• Excellent knowledge of Irish payroll
• At least 2 years end to end payroll processing experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a practice or payroll bureau environment essential
• Strong Payroll Software experience
• Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent time management and the ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership of area of responsibility
• Flexible and adaptable
• Team player;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills – fully fluent written and spoken English essential
