A widely respected sporting goods and apparel company is searching for a new Payroll Specialist. This role will focus on managing compensation and benefits processes, but will also be assigned general HR responsibilities based on skill and experience. Responsibilities:

  • Work with vendors to manage payroll and insurance processes
  • Manage the payroll system and data
  • Assist in the calculation of budgets, incentives, pay revisions, benefits, and paid leave
  • Submit audit, forecast, and headcount reports
  • Administer the on-boarding and termination process
  • Other ad-hoc HR responsibilities based on the candidates skills

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of payroll system experience
  • 1+ years of HR experience
  • Fundamental understanding of labour law, payroll, and social insurance principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency as well as other Microsoft office applications
  • English proficiency is a plus
