AMARO is seeking a talented and driven Assortment Planner to manage product assortment to Guide Shops. This person will be responsible for driven analysis that supports assortment decisions to all AMAROs Guide Shops. The Assortment Planner is an important part of the go-to-market process and should be an advocate for maximizing sales, margin, sku productivity and door tier performance for Guide Shops.

What you'll do:

    • Analyze historical Guide Shop data and current trends to select weekly new assortment to guide Shops
    • Frequently analyzes performance of all AMARO categories at Guide Shops to identify optimal mix by cluster
    • Analyzes SKU productivity by door and make assortment breadth/depth changes to drive profitability
    • Responsible for door tier plans to identify key drivers and regional trends
    • Analyze product performance weekly and identify key styles and categories that drive sales and buyer acquisition
    • Identify what doesn’t work for AMARO customer and action upcoming product plans as needed. Present these findings weekly to cross functional team
    • Analyze and Identify best seller’s and push those products to guide Shops
    • Identify commercial opportunites for Guide Shops
    • Works closely with Visual merchandise to ensure that product exposition is aligned with Physical Retail product strategy
    • Guarantee weekly conference call with Guide Shop managers to identify risk and opportunities for next orders
    • Prepare weekly return order from Guide Shops to AMARO DC
    • Weekly visits to Guide Shops to gain a strong understanding of AMARO Guide Shop customer and her needs
    • Researches and communicates shifts in the competitive market through trends, pricing, and emerging product categories
    • Assists merchandising and product team in developing a cohesive assortment by product category
    • Partner with Guide Shop training department to develop and deploy product and trend trainings
    • Partners with Supply to ensure all orders are placed on-time and communicates any delivery issues to the Central Support team

What you have previously done:

    • 2-5 years of retail or wholesale planning experience, preferably in Assortment Planning or Merchandise Planning in a retail brand;
    • Omni-channel experience a plus.

What your qualifications are:

    • Education: Business, Administration, Economics
    • Advanced level of English
    • Advanced level of Excel/Google Sheets
