Facebook is looking for an experienced professional to join GBG Latam team supporting the Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) team. In this role you will use your talent to leverage data, consumer insights and the client's business to inform brand strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing go-to-market strategy and implementation for video or connection initiatives in region. You empower interdisciplinary teams (Creative Shop, Agency, Sales, Marketing, Legal and Operations) to lead ideas into new and non-traditional connection points, where the target and the idea intersect to create the greatest impact. You are keen to work in the front-row to transform advertising into more valuable communication – and traditional media into more measurable value for advertisers. This role will require persuasive and innovative connection ideas, that leverage the success of agile brands in a rapidly changing media environment and unlocks growth opportunities across the industry. This position will be based in Sao Paulo office.
Connection Planner, Global Business Group - Latam Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of client business, consumer journey and brand strategies
  • Determine optimal strategic approach to advance brand objectives and support sales go-to-market with effective programs and approaches
  • Provide business analytics (market/industry/competitive trends) to help drive initiatives critical to growth and support decision making
  • Earn a place as a trusted advisor to our most influential customers and internal cross-functional partners by engaging them in a conversation about the future of marketing that drives action that shapes the industry
  • Identify external partners from the media ladscape and internal cross-functional partners to design solutions for clients
  • Drive activation programs and new partnership opportunities between Facebook and key partners
  • Conduct internal and external analysis to provide valuable feedback to our product, marketing and engineering teams on our alignment and new opportunities with our customers and partners
  • Collaborate with Global Investment Program colleagues to advance the scope of ads inventory offerings that Facebook may offer its clients
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA or BS degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 12+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience structuring sales go-to-market approach in a media sales or strategy role for a digital, media or tech company or strategy or operations projects at a top-tier consulting firm/corporate strategy team/operations team, preferably in digital media
  • Experience in deal management, negotiation and structuring contracts or business agreements
  • Strong relationships with key agency and client personnel responsible for media buying decisions
  • Outstanding analytical, presentation and communication skills and ability to influence across various levels of management
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, financial)
