Position Description This position manages a key area for the European Supply Chain organization. The mission of the role inside the Strategic Planning is to minimize the Supply Chain costs through the timely Supply Chain optimization process, as well as managing cost reduction opportunities across the whole Supply Chain network. Main Accountabilities
Produce optimal network location and capacity. Build optimal supply plans
Track outcomes of short-term planning & budget to forecast demand, depict trends and assess variances.
Manage use of CHEP optimization tools to deliver accurate data & reporting
Identify short, medium- and long-term opportunities for company direct cost saving
Build what if scenarios for Supply Chain cost reduction and service optimization purposes
Build ad-hoc analysis required by the business
Be an essential part of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process in all its stages.
Manage use of CHEP optimization tools (JDA, others) to deliver accurate data & reporting
Track outcomes of short-term planning & budget to forecast demand, depict trends and assess variances
Identify short, medium- and long-term opportunities for company direct cost saving and assess their potential impact
Collaborate in building yearly European Budget in terms of volumes
Monitor and report on forecast accuracy metrics
Track outcomes of short term planning & budget to forecast demand, depict trends and assess variances
Support the team in the final part of JDA implementation project in order to minimize the Supply Chain costs through the periodic Supply Chain optimization process, and also manage cost reduction opportunities across the whole Supply Chain network.
Learn and support on standardization and development of user-friendly and reliable reports.
Analyze customer’s demand and be able to generate accuracy forecast accordingly.
Bachelor’s degree (Mandatory), Bachelors Science degree on engineering discipline (preferable) or equivalent experience
Knowledge of general Supply chain principles
From 1-3 years business experience in Data management and or Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment (Production Planning / Logistics Planning / Procurement Planning / Network Optimization)
Advanced experience in Supply Chain Management tools (JDA Manug./ SAP APO, etc.), either as a user or consultant.
Experience with S&OP and with Sales Forecasting and demand planning a plus
Personal: flexible; collaborative; problem solving; comfortable working in international environment; strong analytical skills, strong communication skills
