This is an initial 3-4 month FTC position which will support inventory planning and in-season reporting activities within Burberry’s global planning organisation in our London HQ. You will embody the Burberry values and contribute to a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating a long term supply chain forecasting model as well as owning the initial forecast
  • Embedding the monitoring and management of aged inventory management monitoring into monthly OTB process
  • Supporting in-season trade reporting project team with the delivery of all future reports


Long Term Supply Chain Forecasting

  • Building sustainable forecasting model to help supply chain manage vendor capacity
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders on model inputs with the goal of creating an initial 5 year forecast
  • Creating documentation for forecast model and handing over to planning team

Aged inventory management

  • Working with key stakeholders to define governance procedures and monthly monitoring for aged inventory management
  • Embedding these procedures into monthly OTB process, including the development of any additional template and/or reports required

Delivery of in-season reporting

  • Working with project team to support delivery of in-season trade reports including but not limited to user acceptance testing, compiling report specifications from key stakeholders and creating report mock-ups


  • Demonstrated experience in an analytical role and in preparing commercial analyses
  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
