Job Description

Dextra Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is looking for its Planning Manager.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be in charge of lead the planning activities to meet customer service level targets and total inventory objectives:


  • Areas of responsibility include S&OP, capacity planning, Master production plan, inventory management, new product launch management and subcontracting coordination. The Manager will develop and execute a supply chain planning strategy that will yield significant results and take the company to the next level of supply chain performance.
  • The Manager will lead and develop a team of Planners to receive demand plans from the sales team, conduct a formal process to rationalize this demand with available capacity, service/inventory targets, and output a production plan that is "best fit" for all those requirements. The Manager will bring to the position an understanding of contemporary best practice in supply chain/materials management with an ability to coach others.
  • The Manager drives implementation of best practices, including Master Production Scheduling, Material Planning, capacity planning and distribution planning. Utilizes Lean tools to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
  • Develop, monitor and steer KPI's in order to maintain and improve performance.
  • Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

On the Bar projects, the manager will also ensure the projects coordination during the execution phase:

  • Acts as the interface between Department Manager and the Project Execution Team (Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistic, Engineering, Estimation and Accounting departments).
  • Guarantees delivery of project as per defined scope, contractual commitment, agreed lead-time, set budget and quality objectives.
  • Anticipates project risks and opportunities and report to management.
  • Monitors any deviation to defined scope, contractual commitment, agreed lead-time, set budget and quality objectives. Evaluates the impacts and assesses with Project Execution Team the mitigation options and reports to management for approval.
  • Approve each delivery plan prepared by the Planning engineer, prior to communication to the estimation team.
  • Creates and maintain high level project planning that can be used for internal and external communication to monitor progress of procurement and production activities.
  • Issue a project completion report. Deviation must be analyzed with Project Execution Team and when required corrective actions will be put in place with Management support, as part of a continuous improvement process. Follow progress and ensure implementation of corrective actions.


  • Male or Female, Age 35 years up.
  • Master degree in Engineering
  • At least 10 years of Planning and managerial experience
  • Significant experience in project management, ideally in construction or design engineering consultancy firms
  • Fluent communication skills in English language.
  • MS office, MS project. (ERP (RCCP, MPS, MRP)
  • Ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Understanding of common manufacturing technics would be a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure in a multinational working environment
