We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Learning professional to become a part of Goodstart’s innovative practice uplift. We are looking for a Practice Improvement Area Lead to support a group of early learning centres in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This leadership role is a full time, 6 month fixed term contract position, and would suit someone passionate about influencing change and improving children’s outcomes.

As a Practice Improvement Area Lead you will ensure the delivery of high quality ECEC in centres. Specifically, you will support centres’ quality practice uplift journey through the application and improvement of Environmental Rating Scales, the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework. Practice Improvement Area Leads deliver high quality coaching, mentoring and professional development to improve the quality of centre pedagogy and practice.

About you –

  • Extensive and recent practice-based early childhood education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
  • Hold a 4-year Early Childhood qualification or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • Working knowledge of National and State Accredited Early Learning Frameworks and National Quality Framework (including qualification requirements and National Quality Standards).
  • Working knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of relevant State or Territory legislation.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others
  • Open Drivers Licence
