Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure/high-tech B2B in Pricing, Business Strategy or Deal Finance functions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or consulting experience.
  • Experience working on large and complex agreement pricing with Sales, customers and other functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Data Center or Telco infrastructure.
  • Excellent business judgment, with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into a business recommendation.
  • Excellent program management, presentation, communication, quantitative analysis, spreadsheet modeling skills.

About the job

Google Cloud's Global Business Practices team manages Sales Order Support, Contract Management, Deal Pricing, Order Management and Product Fulfillment.

As a Solutions Deal Pricing Principal, you will be responsible for pricing and deal financial models of large industry vertical or horizontal solution agreements. In that role, you will establish relationships with regional Sales and other cross-functional teams involved in large transformational agreements. Your work will often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it will be your job to keep all the stakeholders informed and coordinated.

  • Work directly on complex pricing situations for selected accounts. Develop and drive financial models for complex agreements with inputs from many stakeholders.
  • Engage with a diverse cross-functional team including solution engineering, product managers, legal, billing and accounting in collectively delivering enterprise class agreement pricing for our customers.
  • Lead and drive development of scalable models for addressing specific industry vertical or horizontal solution areas.
  • Develop understanding of market landscape, customer needs, Google’s offerings and competitive pricing in the solution area and apply those into the agreement pricing proposals.
