The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Consulting team is looking for a Principal Telco Cloud Architect with a focus on network function virtualization (NFV) and cloud to join us in Sydney, Australia. In this role, you will manage the adoption of Red Hat’s solutions in our key telco service provider customers, network equipment providers, and key system integrator partners. Through a series of interactions. both in-person and remote, you will win the trust and confidence of their engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of Red Hat solutions. You’ll need to have a thorough working knowledge and practical experience with OpenStack and OpenShift or Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructures to support applications providing virtualized network functions (VNF) as well as containerized network function (CNF) to the telco industry. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have long term industry experience and domain expertise, especially in either mobile or fixed-line telecommunications, in order to play a leading role in the design and project delivery of these business critical solutions. You’ll need solid working knowledge of agile project methodologies, as well as DevOps models and technologies. As a Principal Telco Cloud Architect, you’ll also play a critical role in bringing together cross-functional teams from Red Hat's product business units, product engineering, support, consulting, and sales to meet the needs of these demanding customers. You will serve as a customer advocate with these organizations to architect the right solutions and to ensure that those solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.
