What You Will Do:

• Participate as a full-time team member on an Agile development team
• Design, code and debug both existing and new software applications to support millions of photos and other media uploaded every month in countries across the globe
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality through technical mentorship
• Investigate new technologies and propose solutions to product management in the following exciting new areas of research:
  • Interfacing with hardware APIs including those for 360 and DSLR cameras
  • Image processing via large scale manipulation and artificial intelligence (AI)
  • 3D laser scan data processing and display via advanced modelling techniques
  • Processing and display of drone imagery and derived models
  • Advanced video data processing and display
• Building the global infrastructure to support millions of photos uploaded every month in countries across the globe

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

What You’ll Need

• 4+ yrs. of experience in software engineering developing enterprise-scale web applications
• Experience developing client-side web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and experience with the latest web standards, including HTML5/DHTML and CSS3
• Experience developing reactive interfaces with at least one modern Javascript frameworks such as ExtJS, React, Angular, Vue.JS or similar
• Experience in a variety of server side technologies and languages such as C# or Java
• Capable of writing efficient SQL queries
• Familiar with GIT and Jira/Confluence
• Excellent time management, problem solving, and analytical abilities

What Would Be Nice

• Experience building native mobile applications
• Experience in architecting software for the AWS stack
• Familiarity with a variety of client side streaming video technologies
• Understanding of AI / Deep Learning as applied to images and video
