Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Independent Living Skills / ILS Worker to provide clients with the training and resources needed to develop the skills necessary for independent living. At Intrepid, we focus on the heart of the matter – providing talented health-care professionals, giving them opportunities to follow their passion, and ultimately giving patients the best care available for home health care, hospice and private duty care.


As a Independent Living Skills Worker, your goal is maximize client independence in the community.

Additional duties for this ILS Worker role include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate monthly or more often as needed with client’s assigned case managers; Follow case chronology procedure
  • Report to Manager all important client issues; follow case chronology procedure
  • Update Access list weekly
  • Change of Information forms
  • Case Chronologies (weekly)
  • Initial development of Individual Program Plan (at SOC)
  • Periodic Individual Program Plan Reviews (bi-annually or more often as needed)
  • Discharges
  • Weekly client time cards
  • Weekly visit time slips
  • Adult Protection reports
  • Annual SA/VA renewals

We are looking for a Private Duty Independent Living Skills Worker who is highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively work independently.

Specific qualifications for this role include:

  • 4 year degree in Human Services; preferably in Occupational Therapy or Social Work; other degree considered with enough experience
  • 1 year experience in Human Services Field
  • Current CPR Certification preferred and as required by state regulations
